How a receivable is enforced in Türkiye
A claim based on an invoice, contract, cheque or note can in most cases be enforced directly, without first going to court.
Review
We review the documents, the debtor's trade registry record and assets, and send a formal demand where useful.
Payment order
Proceedings are filed and a payment order served. In ordinary proceedings the debtor has 7 days to pay or object.
İİK 60–62If the debtor objects
The proceeding stops and we apply to set the objection aside. For commercial claims, mediation is mandatory before suing.

Once final, bank accounts, wages, vehicles and real estate can be attached and, if needed, sold.

Signed before a local notary, with an apostille.
Documents
Invoices, contracts and correspondence translated into Turkish by a sworn translator.

Objection period 5 days, payment period 10 days.

Send the documents and you receive a written assessment of the debtor and the recovery options before any court or enforcement costs are incurred.
Most costs fall on the debtor
In Turkish enforcement, the statutory attorney's fee and most enforcement costs are added to the debtor's debt and collected from the debtor, not from you.
